The “Challenge Village” yearly hosts 5 events (Bubble Foot, Snooc race, Skating relay, Pond skimming, and a mystery competition) with 80 students in 16 teams showcasing teamwork, determination, and creativity. Participants dress up, bring supporters to earn ambiance points, and enjoy a fun and playful event highlighting school pride.

The competitions

Yooner Race

Racing machine between sled and ski, the Snooc is quite surprising. Close to the ground, the sensations it provides are similar to go-karting. When is your next round of real-life Mario Kart?

ARA Snow volley

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in partnership with the French Volleyball Federation, supports the ARA Snow Volley event at the Challenge Village during the GEM Altigliss Challenge. This unique competition brings snow volleyball to the Alps, promoting both innovation in sports and the region’s dynamic winter destinations.

Hockey

Teams, skates on their feet, must slide their guinea pig on the ice so that it stops in the area offering the most points. So sharpen your skates and come show us your agility!

Every year, the village challenge reinvents itself and offers a unique and new event! For the 23rd edition, the mystery event was the sumo wrestling match! An ultra fun event where teams were directly pitted against each other!
