The Riders First is a professional freestyle contest that will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at night. This contest gathers about forty top ski/snowboard riders of the moment. The show unfolds in two parts: an official judged competition where crews of three riders compete, and a free session where the public is the sole judge.

The Riders First is renowned for its originality and inclusiveness: snowboarding and skiing, male and female riders. The watchword is fun: the riders have a blast and put on an eye-catching display for the eager audience. It’s this diversity and interactivity that give the event its unique character, attracting both enthusiasts and newcomers.

More than just a freestyle contest, The Riders First is an integral part of the Gem Altigliss Challenge, the inter-university ski world cup. The event will once again bring together the 1000 students of the GAC along with many fans and athletes present in the resort, creating an audience of 3000 people.

The Riders First is all about sharing the “glisse” culture: a live concert, meeting the riders, a thrilled crowd, and a memorable show. The goal is to promote and democratize the Ride culture.
